About 3D Printing
We have two types of training, 2 hour workshop and course for kids.
In the workshop, you will know have a general introduction of 3D printing and how to use the 3d printer, how it works, and how it can be used.
For course, it is used for young creator, we will let them discover the vast world of 3D design and see how designs come to life.
For design, we have three levels, the beginner level is using TinkerCAD, the mid is Fusion 360 and the advance is Solidworks (which is for adults only)
For 3D printing, we use Cura.
No, it is not compulsory, but after the courses, if you want to buy 3D printer, we can provide a discount price.
Solidworks is one of the most popular 3D CAD packages out there.
It's considered a mainstream mechanical engineering tool. It's used in enough places that It's frequently exchanged between companies for manufacturing quoting, conceptual development and analysis.
For engineers, It's like Microsoft office: people just expect you to be able to use it.
Even if a company uses Solidedge or Inventor, if you have Solidworks training, they know you know about Parametric 3D modeling.
The CSWA certification is proof of your SOLIDWORKS® expertise with cutting-edge skills that businesses seek out and reward. As a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate you will stand out from the crowd in today’s competitive job marketplace. Watch the video below to find out how these SOLIDWORKS Users benefited by achieving SOLIDWORKS Certification.
The CSWP exam is a comprehensive, non-proctored online exam that tests an individual’s ability to design and analyze parametric parts and movable assemblies using a variety of complex features in SOLIDWORKS, including design validation tools. The goal of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Program is that it establishes an Industry standard by which SOLIDWORKS professionals are evaluated. This evaluation is completed using a fair, comprehensive test of your knowledge of SOLIDWORKS both in the areas of Mechanical Design and Design Validation. Completing the evaluation will accomplish two goals. First, on an individual level, achieving certification establishes you as a highly competent professional in the use of SOLIDWORKS. Second, for the hiring managers, acts as a valuable assessment to attest for the individual’s competency, thereby reducing the amount of time and energy required to research prospective candidates.
The Solidworks have wide range of applications in industries such as
- Heavy Equipment
- Consumer products
- Mold & Tools design
- Sheet metal work
- Process Plant
- Energy conservation
- Medical tools
- Product design and other engineering services.
It helps to design various products and services, testing them in very cost effective way like 3D printing and prototype testing.
