Rendering is the process of creating temporary render files for segments of your project. We use very often with this tool to show our clients our designs so they can understand better and experience better. We use rendering option to finalize work on the model by creating a 2D or 3D 360-degree image model.

To create these images, we apply all defined materials and lights to objects and display them in a realistic way. Rendering is the final step in the post-production of 3D models. In this step, we are consolidating all profile, materials, lights, shadows, and the environment that we have previously defined. The single goal is to create a realistic model.

We use software like AutoCAD 2D/3D, Rhino3D, CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor, Maya and with the help of this powerful tool, we can provide for you a beautiful image used for marketing, displaying and sales.

Rendering Tool

Rendering tool helps our customer to better understand our idea you as our client a better idea of the model and provide a clearer picture of the model at the end of the design process. We are usually using the following options for rendering.

Material Database

Designers of Mech Solutions work every day with the material browser in the Render module that displays the library of materials. Materials browser allows our experts to select material from database and apply it to your model. We can also create your own library of materials. If you have new demands for building materials, we just need to select and choose another material that is suitable for your solution.


Decals are very powerful. Not only can they make our customized satisfied with their products, but using decals we can help reduce any extraneous modeling through splitting faces of a model. In visualize, it is extremely easy to add decals and manipulate with them.

Adding a decal is simple. We can just drag and drop once we have the right image file. Most decals have some areas that are transparent. The decals are not going to be just a giant block sticker. We need a file that has transparency (.png file) with transparency. As you can see, decals are easy to apply in render tool and render in a very realistic way.


With the process of rendering module our designers can play with background with the effect of the sun, the sky and the customized background and play more with the material properties.


Scene lights are by far the fastest and easiest way to put your model in a pleasing environment. We can use a set of spherical HDR images that define the ambient lighting cast on the model. We can adjust environment brightness, rotate it, and tweak some minor parameters such as floor roughness and reflections.

Spot Light is a projector light with a distinctive conical beam. The position of this light can be controlled with spherical coordinates rather than XYZ, this makes it easier to control the orientation and distance from the object in contrast with Point Light.

Directional Light is a point light so far away from object all the rays reaching the object are parallel. The direct analogy in the real world would be a direct sunlight.


The visualize camera tool is a virtual viewpoint in 3D space that has position and direction.In a 3D scene represents the viewer’s eye and the scene is rendered at the final quality. Basic controls for the current camera are in the camera panel. We can save a cameras settings and position to a file so you can share cameras with other projects and users.

Options are:

  • Render: Renders a single image using the current camera
  • All Cameras: Renders a single image using every camera in the scene. This produces same number of renderings as we have cameras in the scene.
  • Panoramic: Takes an image cube. An image cube is six images taken from the same location, pointing at 90º angles from each other. Then it outputs an HTML file and stores content images in a subfolder so we can see the panorama in any browser. This is convenient for interior spaces and you can, use it with all render modes.
  • VR: Use several stills from dozens of camera locations in multiple orbits to support to move around the output model in any browser.


After the process of rendering, it is possible to look render an image in the gallery and to see the final rendered products. Also, all the models can be viewed on portable devices such as tablet computer and mobile phone if we have installed an adequate application. These options allow us to improve communication among employees on the project as well as with you, as our customers.
