Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
Strong: Durable and versatile. Should be used when the printed object requires strength and a little flexibility.
Hygroscopic: Readily absorbs water from air and therefore requires a dry nylon filament in order to have a superb smooth and glossy finish
Easy to Color: Due to its hygroscopic properties it absorbs liquids and therefore can take on a liquid fabric dye.
Chemical resistant: UV resistant and has a higher chemical resistant to that of their co-printer materials such as (ABS & PLA)
Create tools, functional prototypes, or mechanical parts (like hinges, buckles, or gears)
Any products require high precision and complex design. Difficult for post-processing.
